Key Responsibilities

• Act with integrity, ensuring patients receive the right care and attention throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans based on patient assessments, goals, and preferences, utilizing a variety of evidence-based techniques.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment processes, expectations, and healthy lifestyle choices to empower them in their recovery.
• Facilitate ongoing care planning, collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive treatment.
• Participate actively in continuous professional development, staff management, and departmental improvements while maintaining a focus on cost management.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every patient and contributing to the overall success of the department.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work closely with a diverse population of patients, primarily focusing on athletes and active individuals recovering from injuries. Our patients include those suffering from sports-related injuries, post-surgery rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. This role allows you to make a significant impact on their recovery journey and enhance their quality of life through tailored therapy and support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or an equivalent program.
• Current physical therapy license in the State of Virginia.
• Current CPR certification required at the time of hire.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with diverse patient backgrounds.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with an aptitude for multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality in all patient interactions.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist in a rehabilitation setting, particularly in Sports Medicine.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and patient management.
• Proficiency in a variety of physical therapy modalities and treatment techniques.
• Background in working as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
