Commercial Market Manager

Commercial Market Manager Key Responsibilities Manages a diverse customer base operating in complex markets through multiple channels of trade. Develops and maintains strong relationships with Brand, Wholesale, and National Accounts customers. Supports the team in maintaining customer satisfaction by advising and assisting with customer issues and handling difficult situations. Partners with Pricing, Trading, Supply, and Logistics to determine and execute profitable near- and long‑term sales strategy and pricing targets. Provides strategic direction for direct reports in line with Regional and National Account and Commercial objectives. Identifies potential new product offerings and new market expansion opportunities. Assists direct reports with prospecting efforts, including prioritization and resource allocation. Consults with direct reports in creating and negotiating Brand proposal packages and Wholesale contract and bid packages aligned with organization growth objectives. Reviews and supports the development of Brand proposals and Wholesale contract packages. Advises on contract structure and alignment with business objectives, providing input on approvals within level of authority and escalating as needed. Partners with legal in contract review processes and supports the presentation of proposals to Commercial leadership. Monitors customer sales volume, margins, and market conditions; provides insights and recommendations to leadership and supports implementation of adjustments. Develops the Annual Capital Budget, Annual Business Plan, and Brand and Wholesale Customer forecasts with inputs from the Region. Recommends new products, programs, strategies, and innovation management to improve sales and profitability. Assists direct reports in defining opportunities for participation in Brand Marketing programs and strategies. Coordinates the implementation of special programs and strategies. Coordinates activities across teams to support Branded, Wholesale, and National Accounts customers operating across geographic areas. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required. Six (6) years of industry or similar experience with commercial, supply, or trading background. Location Home – TN.
