As a WellSpan cardiologist, you'll benefit from our commitment to reinvesting in our patients and communities. We are currently seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our well-established cardiology practice. Our team comprises 3 non-invasive, 1 interventional, and 3 advanced practice providers.

• 100% consultative role with a full scope of non-invasive modalities. You will have a steady stream of referrals from a primary care base, ensuring a consistent and diverse caseload.
• Full scope of non-invasive modalities, including a mix of outpatient and inpatient medicine.
• Robust, integrated practice model with Interventional Cardiology and Vascular Surgery.
• Practice location attached to Evangelical Hospital, with close proximity to the Cath lab and ECHO/Stress department.
• Practice uses Epic EMR, which is fully integrated with the Hospital.

• Examination and evaluation to identify, prevent, diagnose and treatment of diseases related to cardiovascular disease as well as other contributing disease states as presented.
• Perform technical patient care procedures ranging from echocardiography, diagnostic cardiac catheterization, minor surgical interventions, and or other related intervention to diagnosis and treat patients? condition.
• Read non-invasive cardiac and vascular imaging as allowed by organizations bylaws and individual physicians credentials. Testing may include echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, stress testing, and nuclear stress testing.
• Prescribe and administer medications in the treatment of patient?s cardiovascular disease and other medical disorders.
• Monitor the effectiveness of treatments to make necessary changes or modifications to ensure high quality patient outcomes.
• Maintain current cardiovascular medical knowledge.

• Participates in Medical Staff, Cardiology Practice, and Service Line activities as required and / or requested.
• Observe the Bylaws, Rules and Regulations of the Hospital, Medical Staff, Medical Group and Service Line.
• Demonstrates a commitment to patient, visitor and staff by: complying with all applicable safety regulations; learning the impact of medical errors and methodology that will lead to reduction of errors; reporting actual and potential errors, as well as hazardous conditions; identifying opportunities to standardize processes and "error proof" systems that will lead to increased safety; and participating in safety education programs and root cause analyses as required.
• Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.
• Document patient records and progress including symptoms, medications, and treatments.
• Participates in research and other scholarly activities.

• Performs other related duties as identified.
