Allied Technician - Sterile Processing Tech (SPT)

Sterile Processing Technician

We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in sterile processing within a similar healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, clean, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all processes.
Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment maintenance.
Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments.
Perform routine inspections and participate in quality control measures.

Qualifications:

6-8 years of relevant sterile processing experience in a healthcare setting.
Certification as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) is preferred.
Permanent residence must be within 50 miles of the facility.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence in patient care.

Work Schedule:

This position offers a shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with no holidays, weekends, or on-call requirements.
