Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting security-related issues to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, data areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access requirements, and support site access control procedures in accordance with post orders.
• Communicate with employees, contractors, and visitors regarding site rules, incident updates, and/or directions while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
