The ideal candidate will be a creative and analytical thinker. They will be able to conduct insightful market research to establish a marketing strategy that will effectively reach the target audience. They should be comfortable evaluating the marketing process, and work to critique and improve its outcomes.
Work experience
- Strong portfolio of content (with links) they personally created (short- form video, social, or design)
- 1 - 3 years of experience in marketing or content creation
- Has run social accounts for a company, startup, or student organization
- Uses AI tools daily to work faster (writing, design, video, or tools like Claude Code)
- Charismatic, high- energy on- camera presence and ability to serve as a welcoming brand face (community events, brand socials)
- Built a personal following (10K+ on Social Media) or has had content go viral
- Organized in- person events, activations, or community programs with real turnout
- Take ownership of the student ambassador program, growing it from the current pilot into a scalable program and driving real engagement, not just tabling
- Plan and run in-person community events and activations and make every attendee feel welcome
- Work closely with the founders on brand, messaging, and positioning, including the ongoing full brand redesign and launches for new products and features
- Use AI tools and performance data to move fast, track campaign results, and keep improving reach, engagement, and community growth
