Jefferson Health is seeking a Hybrid Hospitalist Physician to support our New Jersey campuses, with a primary base at Washington Township and rotational coverage at Cherry Hill and Stratford. This role offers a dynamic practice environment across multiple community hospital settings, providing a diverse patient population and collaborative care experience. Job Description Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and management of hospitalized patients across assigned campuses.
- Rotate between Washington Township, Cherry Hill, and Stratford locations to support clinical coverage needs and maintain continuity of care.
- Participate in patient admissions, daily rounding, and discharge planning.
- Collaborate with specialists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
- Respond to medical emergencies, including Rapid Response and Code Blue events.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation using the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocol development.
- Support and mentor medical students, residents, and advanced practice providers, as applicable.
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Active New Jersey medical license (or eligibility to obtain).
- Active DEA and CDS registrations.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and excellent communication skills.
- Prior hospitalist experience in a community or academic setting.
- Experience working across multiple sites or in a hybrid/float model.
- Familiarity with EPIC or similar EMR systems.
- Interest in teaching and academic engagement.
