Lead DataCenter Network Technician

\n

\n

What this role does:

\n

Own onsite escalation for physical layer: network and structured cabling.

\n

\n

What You'll own:

\n

\n
• Tier 3 escalation for network + cabling issues
\n
• Fiber troubleshooting (faults, transceivers, patch panels)
\n
• Testing and validation (VFL, power meters, light levels)
\n
• Structured cabling repairs and remediation
\n
• Post-repair validation (LLDP, connectivity, optical levels)
\n
• Documentation and escalation to network engineering
\n

Must-have Experience:

\n

\n
• Strong Fiber and Cabling experience (single-mode, multi-mode, standards)
\n
• Experience with fiber tools (VFL, OTDR, power meters, fiber scopes)
\n
• Basic network diagnostics (link status, light levels)
\n
• Data center experience (3+ years)
\n

\n

\n

Nice to have:

\n

\n
• BICSI, CCNA, or similar certifications
\n
• Experience with high-speed optics (100G+)
\n
• Exposure to GPU / AI infrastructure
\n
