Human Resources AdminSurge Staffing is seeking a Human Resources Admin with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and excellent customer service skills. The ideal candidate will be dependable, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable serving as a point of contact for employees and leaders.The compensation range for this position is $25.00–$27.00 per hour. The hours will be as followed- Monday: 7:30am-4:30pm and Tuesday-Friday 10am-7pm or 11am-8pm.Primary Functions & Responsibilities:Support daily HR operations and processesServe as a point of contact for employees and leadersRespond to employee questions by phone, email, and in personAssist with new hire onboarding and paperworkSend new hire onboarding packetsProcess and monitor drug tests and background checksReview and scan completed process checklistsAssist with benefits administrationAssist with weekly payroll for permanent employeesSupport employee relations processesPrepare and send termination lettersMaintain accurate and confidential employee recordsTrack daily attendance and identify trendsAssist with compliance tracking and reportingCoordinate employee training and HR activitiesManage team calendar, birthdays, anniversaries, and PTOProvide receptionist coverage during breaksMaintain organized HR files and documentationProvide exceptional customer service to employees and leadersPerform other duties as assigned to support company operationsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredAt least 1 year of customer service or relevant business experienceAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlinesComfortable speaking in front of groupsAbility to maintain confidentialityExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong problem-solving and organizational skillsProficient computer and telephone skillsKnowledge of standard office administrative practices and proceduresCooperative and team-orientedCalm under pressure and able to work independentlySurge is an equal opportunity employer.
