About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Enterprise Data & Information Management to lead the strategic development and governance of its data assets, with a strong focus on AI transformation and adoption. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining the enterprise data program, ensuring data is structured, governed, and AI-ready at an enterprise scale. This role demands a leader with a proven track record in enterprise data management, data governance, and data architecture, particularly in the context of enabling AI and analytics at scale. The VP will set and enforce data quality standards, manage the enterprise data catalog, and partner with business units to mature data as a foundational capability for AI. Experience in GxP data compliance within a regulated life sciences or biopharma environment is strongly preferred, as is a deep understanding of the current AI data landscape. Applicants for the VP position at the company should have a BS/BA degree in a related field, with at least 20 years of experience in the data management domain. The role requires deep expertise in data governance frameworks, master data management, metadata management, and enterprise data quality. Hands-on experience in federated data architecture, semantic layers, and multimodal data infrastructure is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in people leadership, with the ability to build and develop senior data engineering and governance talent. The VP will also be responsible for setting enterprise policies for data privacy and security, and must be adept at communicating and influencing across various functions, including digital and technology, business units, scientific functions, legal, and regulatory affairs.
