Food & Beverage Team Leader

Starting pay range per hour: $23.75 – $25.75. Full pay range per hour: $23.75 – $40.40, based on labor markets, education, experience, and certifications. For more information see About the Food & Beverage Team The Food & Beverage team ensures fresh, in‑stock, accurately priced products and provides an excellent guest experience. As a team leader, you will develop skills in guest service, food safety, inventory management, pricing, promotions, and team leadership. Responsibilities Deliver guest experience commitments and ensure team members are trained and accountable. Observe and provide feedback, recognize guest‑experience moments. Review metrics to identify opportunities and drive results. Understand sales goals, plan workload, and execute merchandising, pricing, sampling, and promotions. Lead the Food & Beverage team to meet daily standards and maintain a food‑safe and clean area. Prioritize workload tasks, assign daily duties, and validate progress. Develop team through coaching, training, and skill gaps. Lead huddles to communicate focuses, trends, and store reporting. Partner with vendors to ensure brand standards and inventory availability. Support hiring, onboarding, and team building. Assist with guest services such as back‑up cashier, order pick‑up, and drive‑up. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws and food safety regulations. Lead and model a safety culture, addressing hazards, incident response, and reporting injuries. Support merchandise protection strategies and the store’s security culture. Encourage inclusivity and equity. Possibly assume store‑level leadership on duty duties. Qualifications & What We Are Looking For Minimum 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent. Previous retail or food experience preferred. Strong interest and knowledge of the Food & Beverage business. Leadership skills: interview, train, coach, evaluate, retain talent. Excellent communication and multi‑device operation. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain focus in fast‑paced environment. Open to variable work schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times. Physical ability to lift up to 44 lbs, climb ladders, and work in temperature‑controlled environments. Access to all building areas to support guests or teammates. Ability to handle cash register operations as needed. Knowledge of adult beverage laws and compliance for liquor license (if applicable). Completion of required Starbucks and/or Pizza Hut training and certifications (if applicable).
