Accounting Clerk

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support daily accounting and administrative functions in a manufacturing environment. This temporary position is ideal for candidates with accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or office administration experience. Strong computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle clerical responsibilities are essential.
Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Enter and maintain accurate data in company systems
• Perform filing, recordkeeping, and document management
• Support accounting and administrative teams with daily tasks
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and other computer applications
• Process invoices and maintain financial records
• Communicate professionally with internal departments as needed
• Complete additional clerical and accounting-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous accounting, bookkeeping, office administration, or clerical experience preferred
• Accounts payable and/or accounts receivable experience is a plus
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Excel required
• Strong data entry and organizational skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Manufacturing, business office, or accounting office experience preferred

Requirements

• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screen
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attendance and reliability
