Business Development Manager

Acme, a trusted tri-state name for over 90 years in locksmithing, door, and access control solutions is looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team in Cincinnati, OH! This is a true outside sales hunter role focused on new business development and cross-selling into an underpenetrated customer base, leading with access control as the primary wedge while selling across our full security and door portfolio. What You'll Do Build and manage a consistent outbound pipeline, converting our backlog of warm leads into active opportunities Prospect and close new customers across GCs, property developers, property management companies, and commercial end users Lead with access control solutions (SALTO, BRIVO, Allegion), growing our access control business into a core growth driver Increase wallet share across our existing customer base through service agreements (ARR), access control upgrades, and door and hardware solutions Support estimation when needed, building enough technical fluency to scope jobs and collaborate with operations and engineering Own your territory: core coverage across Cincinnati and Dayton, extended reach into Lexington, Louisville, Columbus, and Indianapolis What We Are Looking For 3-5+ years of B2B sales experience in access control, storefront, door, or related industries Proven hunter mentality with a strong track record of new business acquisition Experience with a service or maintenance contract sales model is a plus Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team-selling environment Proficiency with Google Suite, CRM systems, and job tracking systems (such as ServiceTitan) A valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned territory What's In It For You Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission, so your earning potential reflects your hard work and success Fuel card Healthcare coverage including medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan with competitive match Generous paid time off and holidays Access to training programs and opportunities for career advancement Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for confidential counseling and support services #J-18808-Ljbffr Acme Lock and Door
