This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 3x12-hour shifts from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM, every other weekend, and holidays as needed.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care to a diverse patient population, including observation patients, those with respiratory conditions, psychiatric observation, and medical-surgical diagnoses in the Med/Surg/Tele unit. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Conduct assessments and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Perform EKG monitoring and interpretation as required.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Must be flexible with scheduling and willing to float to other units as necessary.
• Must pass an EKG exam during onboarding.
• EPIC experience is required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice is required.
