Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 06/01/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical Telemetry Unit Schedule Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 - 07:30), every other weekend, holidays as needed. Job Description The Registered Nurse will work in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit providing care to a diverse patient population. Responsibilities include managing patients with various medical conditions, including respiratory issues, surgical needs, and psychiatric observances. Responsibilities Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing care plans based on clinical guidelines. Administer medications and perform medical procedures as prescribed. Manage and interpret EKG results, ensuring patient safety and care. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management. Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Medical/Surgical or Telemetry setting. Current RN license required. BLS certification is mandatory; ACLS and NIHSS preferred. Experience with EPIC charting system is required. Charge RN experience is preferred but not mandatory.
