Data Scientist

Overview:

ROLE: Data Scientist

LOCATION: San Antonio, TX

Key Skills Required:

• Strong programming skills in Python, R, and SQL

• Strong understanding of statistics, probability, and linear algebra

• Experience with Machine Learning libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch

• Experience with Model Monitoring / Model Ops environments

• Strong SQL optimization and data analysis skills

• Experience building dashboards, monitoring metrics, and prototype data assets

• Familiarity with AI/ML operationalization and scalable engineering practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance model monitoring capabilities for Insurance Data Science teams

• Collaborate with Data Scientists and AI/ML Engineers to productionize and monitor models

• Build prototype datasets, dashboards, and monitoring solutions

• Optimize and maintain SQL queries for model monitoring activities

• Conduct quality checks including unit testing and run-to-run testing

• Implement scalable solutions primarily using Python

• Monitor model performance and communicate performance breaches to stakeholders

• Support Quarto-based documentation and Model Ops improvements

• Manage scheduled jobs and operational workflows in Domino platform

Preferred Background:

• Experience in Insurance/Financial Services analytics environments

• Strong CS/Engineering skills combined with Data Science exposure

• Experience with model operationalization and monitoring frameworks
