Job Description Minimum 1+ years special education experience required. ProCare Therapy is currently seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team as Cross-Categorical Intervention Specialists in both Elementary and Middle School settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs. Position Details: Type: W2 Contract Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week Pay Rate: Starting at $38-42 per hour, depending on experience and school budget Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k Job Responsibilities: Elementary School (Specialized Learning Center): Provide specialized instructional support to students with diverse learning needs Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create inclusive learning environments Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary Middle School (Specialized Learning Center): Focus on categorical intervention for middle school students with special educational needs Develop and implement effective educational strategies and accommodations Conduct assessments and evaluations to track student progress and adjust interventions accordingly Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning and growth Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field Valid teaching license with Special Education endorsement Experience in specialized learning environments preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and support staff Additional Information: Start Date: August 12, 2024 End Date: May 30, 2025 Candidates must be available to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday Application Instructions: To apply for this rewarding position as a Cross-Categorical Intervention Specialist, please submit your resume and cover letter to Andrew Pupo at .
