A Forklift Operator safely drives industrial trucks to load, unload, move, and stack materials inside warehouses, factories, and shipping yards. Job Responsibilities Operate Equipment: Drive sit-down or stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks to move goods. Load and Unload: Move materials safely on and off trucks, trailers, and loading docks. Manage Inventory: Scan product barcodes with RF scanners and log movements in the warehouse system. Inspect Machines: Complete daily pre-shift safety checks on brakes, forks, and fluid levels. Maintain Safety: Follow workplace safety rules, wear safety gear, and keep aisles clear of hazards. Key Requirements Certification: Valid OSHA-compliant forklift operator license or training certificate. Physical Strength: Ability to sit or stand for long hours and lift heavy items when needed. Attention to Detail: Strong focus to prevent product damage or workplace accidents.
