The Safety Coordinator is charged with continuously improving the welfare of the workforce by reducing accidents/incidents. Job Core Responsibilities Develops Safety/Environmental policies, procedures, programs, training Develops continuous improvement goals for safety/environmental Tracks unsafe conditions/measurements/evaluations Audits safety/environmental practices Manages SDS Records Conducts safety/environmental/ training at all organizational levels Provides employees direction on Safety/Environmental compliance Analyzes injuries, identifies root causes, & develops corrective actions Skills Self-starter, detail oriented, ability to multitask Excellent time management skills Ability to work independently and communicate with management Good interpersonal and communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Experience 5 years of experience in EHS field These job functions are not intended to be all-inclusive.
