Full-Time Property Management Assistant – Student Housing

Casa Rana Management is seeking a dependable, organized, and service-oriented Property Management Assistant to join our team at The Rosedale, a 59-unit Class A student housing community near Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, TX.

This position works closely with the Property Manager and supports the daily operations of the property, including leasing, resident communication, collections, renewals, vendor coordination, and administrative responsibilities.

The ideal candidate is professional, friendly, highly organized, comfortable communicating with residents and vendors, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Previous apartment, student housing, leasing, or property management experience is strongly preferred, but we are also willing to train the right candidate with strong administrative and customer-service experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional office, administrative, leasing, or property management experience preferred
• Apartment, multifamily, or student housing experience is a strong plus
• Professional, friendly, and positive attitude
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize responsibilities
• Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable communicating with residents, parents, vendors, contractors, and management
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows
• Ability to learn property management and leasing software
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Reliable and dependable attendance

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to residents, prospective residents, and parents
• Assist the Property Manager with the day-to-day operation of the property
• Respond to resident inquiries and assist with resident concerns
• Assist with leasing activities, including property tours, follow-up calls, applications, lease paperwork, and move-in coordination
• Follow up with prospective residents and maintain leasing activity records
• Assist with lease renewals and resident retention
• Assist with rent collections, past-due accounts, and resident payment follow-up
• Coordinate move-outs, move-ins, and apartment make-ready schedules
• Communicate with maintenance staff, vendors, and outside contractors regarding work orders and property needs
• Obtain vendor quotes and assist with coordinating repair and improvement projects
• Assist with resident events and community activities
• Prepare correspondence, notices, reports, and other property documents
• Maintain accurate electronic and paper files
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and provide general office support
• Assist with property inspections and follow-up items
• Support seasonal student-housing move-in and move-out operations
• Perform other property-management and administrative duties as needed
