Join our close-knit, family-run shop where every team member wears multiple hats. Whether you're just starting out or highly skilled, you'll be involved in all aspects of the shop-running CNC machines and supporting other shop operations.
What You'll Do:
- Operate CNC machines alongside various other shop equipment
- Load, unload, and set up jobs while assisting wherever needed
- Help with machine maintenance, quality checks, and material handling
- Use forklifts and other tools to keep production moving smoothly
- Collaborate with the team to handle a wide variety of tasks every day
Entry Level / Beginner
- Some mechanical knowledge or recent Hillyard graduate
- Eager to learn all facets of the shop including CNC operation and general duties
- Dependable with strong attendance and a good work ethic
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely with the team
- Comfortable operating CNC machines and familiar with shop processes
- Able to read blueprints and assist with troubleshooting equipment
- Willing to jump into different roles as needed to support production
- Focused on quality and teamwork
- Proficient running multiple CNC machines and handling complex setups
- Experienced with blueprints, inspections, and process improvements
- Ready to take on additional responsibilities throughout the shop
- Mentor less experienced coworkers and contribute to team success
- Flexible team players who can adapt to varied tasks
- Reliable and respectful individuals with a positive attitude
- Safety-conscious workers who take pride in quality
- Motivated people ready to grow in a small, hands-on shop environment
