Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Upstate New York

Schedule: 8-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM), 13-week assignment, weekend and holiday rotation required, on-call responsibilities with 30-minute response time

Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current New York State Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• Lethal dysrhythmia interpretation skills
• Preceptorship, charge nurse, and leadership experience preferred for seasoned RNs
• Thorough knowledge of nursing principles and ability to assess patient clinical, educational, mental, and spiritual needs
• Proficiency with clinical equipment and instrumentation used in OR and ASU settings
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to function effectively in high-stress situations with creative problem-solving abilities
• Must reside outside 100-mile radius of facility
