Our full benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, PTO, paid holidays, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, and much more Compensation for Rewind Operator will be based on the skills and experiences you bring to Smyth SHIFT AVAILABLE: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 2pm - 10pm Key Responsibilities for Rewind Operator include: Setting up, running, and maintaining CEI Rewind machines in an efficient and timely manner Carefully and thoroughly inspecting completed labels for errors and defects Identifying, recommending, and implementing areas for Lean improvement/modification Performing work based on finishing spec sheet and priorities assigned by the Lead Rewinder/Finishing Supervisor Preparing and maintaining appropriate documentation for assigned finishing tasks Performing preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability finishing equipment The ideal Rewind Operator candidate must demonstrate: Attention to detail, effective time management, and multi-tasking skills to meet deadlines on multiple long and short-term projects simultaneously Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, as well as read a ruler Self-motivation, being able to work with little supervision at times Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with a diverse group of people and personalities Ability to provide a high level of customer service, responding promptly and thoroughly to the inquiries and needs of individuals both internal and external to the organization Education, Skills, and Experience for Rewind Operator: Required: High school diploma or equivalent Required: Can perform heavy work, lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent pushing and pulling heavy items, often lifting/carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds Required: Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in the English language Preferred: One or more years of related flexographic printing experience A Plus: Experience working with lean manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
