This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced associate to work on sophisticated employment matters for a diverse client base, including complex wage and hour, PAGA, and class action litigation. The role offers meaningful responsibility, client interaction, and the opportunity to work within a collaborative, high-performing employment law team.Candidate ProfileJD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic recordActive Bar Admission in California, in good standing4-7 years of substantive labor and employment law experienceSignificant experience handling wage and hour, PAGA, and class action matters, including matters in state and federal courtsStrong background advising employers on compliance with federal, state, and local employment lawsArbitration, mediation, or trial experience is required.Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skillsAbility to manage matters independently while collaborating effectively within team-based environmentsComfortable with and open to using AI-driven and emerging technologies, with the ability to apply them effectively to boost efficiency, improve client service, and enhance legal work outputPrior large or sophisticated law firm experience preferredKey ResponsibilitiesRepresent employers in wage and hour, PAGA, and class action litigation mattersHandle a wide range of labor and employment litigation matters, from inception through resolutionAdvise clients on compliance with evolving California and federal employment lawsDraft motions, briefs, memoranda, and other litigation filingsParticipate in discovery, including depositions, document review, and preparation of discovery responsesConduct legal research and prepare memoranda, pleadings, and settlement documentationRepresent clients in disputes involving non-compete and non-solicitation agreementsCollaborate with colleagues to develop strategic, practical solutions tailored to client needsWhy Join Us?This role offers the opportunity to join a premier Labor & Employment practice handling some of the most challenging and impactful employment matters in the market.
