divh2Liquid Production Supervisor/h2pThe successful candidate oversees and supervises all daily liquid production operations to meet predetermined production schedules while maintaining an optimal balance of quality, service, and efficiency to achieve operational excellence. They will ensure that all Production activities and production equipment are operated in accordance with BRC requirements, as well as all Illes SOPs, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Safety Practices, Quality standards and time sequences. Partner conducts themselves in a manner that is aligned with Illes Foods Core Values: Operate with Integrity, Stay Intentionally Curious, and Believe in the Power of the Partnership./ppKey Duties and Responsibilities:/pulliEnforce safety, GMP, sanitation, and food quality standards at all times./liliEnsure operators have correctly documented the use of raw materials, containers, and labels per the batch sheets; report discrepancies./liliDocument and report daily production schedule attainment/liliLead roll-out and training of Production monitoring systems (MES). Maintain master data such as Tmax among other data./liliEnsure training of all direct reports and temporary employees is conducted and documented./liliManage temporary labor as defined by Production leadership./liliInventory equipment and parts, report needs to leadership./liliProvide input and/or conduct investigations through established methods (such as 5 whys) regarding first pass quality, complaints, food safety committee finding, audit findings, safety investigations and for operational needs./liliMonitor production, equipment, and HMI systems to ensure efficient, compliant operations./liliInspect ingredients and finished products for quality; coordinate sample testing with QA./liliUse RiteTime, Ross, and related systems to enter data, complete outputs, and move goods./liliPrepare accurate production and QA reports; maintain inspection-ready status./liliCalculate labor/equipment needs, and evaluate production data./liliCollaborate with Maintenance, Warehouse, Production Planning, and Food Safety and Quality to ensure equipment is functioning properly, materials are moved and stages appropriately, the schedule is in alignment with expectations, and the food is manufactured under strict adherence to Food Safety standards and expectations./liliAttend new product and operations readiness meetings for new products; be the liaison for operators and Innovation partners for new product production./liliMaintain accountability for all direct reports; execute disciplinary actions as needed./liliCommunicate professionally and participate in ongoing training and development./liliMaintain regular attendance and fulfill other duties as assigned, including supervisor tasks listed in FM HR-0008./li/ulpSecondary Duties and Responsibilities:/pulliAct as backup for the Liquid Operations Team Leader when needed./liliAccurately add materials per batch instructions and operate equipment safely./liliOperate production and packaging machinery, including forklifts and powered equipment./li/ulpRequired Key Skills and Qualifications:/pulliJudgment and Decision Making Critical for assessing situations, solving problems, and making sound operational calls./liliManagement of Personnel Resources Key to leading, motivating, and developing team members effectively./liliMonitoring Ensures product quality, equipment performance, and operational standards are consistently met./liliInitiative Vital for proactively addressing issues, improving processes, and driving team performance./liliCoordination Necessary for aligning team efforts and ensuring seamless workflow across departments./li/ulpExperience Education:/ppBachelors degree preferred (or working towards one) Food industry experience required with 2 to 3 years experience supervising and leading a team in the food industry/ppWorking Conditions Physical Demands:/pulliLifting: Ability to continuously lift weights up to 55 lbs. vertically./liliCarrying: Ability to continuously carry up to 55 lbs. to distances up to 70 in./liliPush-Pull: Able to transfer up to 100 lbs. on a sled up to distances of 45 ft (no repetitions./liliRepetitive Coupling: Ability to continuously squeeze Jamer hand Dynamometer requiring forces up to 10 lbs./liliClimbing: Ability to continuously ascend and descend a step with a height of 8 in./liliTemperatures: Varies from 55 to 110 degrees/li/ulpWhat We Offer:/ppWe are a core-value driven, inclusive team that values innovation, growth, and impact.
