Accounts Payable Specialist

Job DetailsResponsible for processing vouchers and payments of internal and external suppliers through the JDE system. Review and approve employee expenses in Concur system to ensure compliance with travel policy. Assist in auditing process in Accounts Payable with compliance to the current Trelleborg internal control and Delegation Authority policy. Support various projects as required.Responsibilities:Resolve and validate discrepancies by contacting vendors or employees before performing the Accounts Payable functionsPerform vouchering and payments for Accounts Payable in JDEPerform review and approval of Trelleborg employees' expense reports in Concur that meet all Trelleborg PolicyResponsible for inter-company transactions including accounts payable vouchering in JDEMaintain Self Use Tax assessment for the site locationsEnsure all monthly JDE Accounts Payable batches are posted correctlyEnsure proper month end cut off processing, aging generation, and notify Controller of items requiring an accrualAssist with month-end closing of Accounts Payables and reconciliationRequirements:Associates degree or equivalent experience requiredMinimum of 2 years of prior experience in an accounting function requiredUnderstanding of basic accounting (ie. Debits/credits, GL accounts, proper period reporting, aging reports)Experience in JD Edwards or other ERP system preferredExperience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) requiredStrong working knowledge of Excel required (templates, vlookups, etc.)Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
