Job Title: Video Production: Shooting & Editing Directors + Creators: Boston Web Group is seeking a full-time Videographer to join the Online Communications & Design team and be part of a thoughtful and energetic organization. The ideal candidate is passionate at storytelling, video production and editing, photography , and is able to manage multiple video/photo projects at once with competing deadlines. You should have equipment that you’re comfortable with, although you can use ours. You should have some work that shows your scope of acumen, including storyboarding, shooting, directing, editing, and post-production executive choices that you’ve made to tell the story. Position Overview As our Video Producer & Content Creator, you’ll manage the entire video production process—from concept and storyboarding to filming, editing, publishing, and performance analysis. You’ll work with a variety of clients to produce professional video and photo content for websites, social media, advertising campaigns, email marketing, and digital branding initiatives. This role combines creative storytelling with digital marketing strategy. You’ll collaborate with account managers, designers, developers, marketers, and clients to create content that not only looks exceptional but also delivers measurable results. Responsibilities Video Production Plan, storyboard, script, direct, shoot, and edit professional video content. Conduct client interviews and capture compelling visual stories. Film on-location and in-studio using professional cameras, lighting, audio, and drone equipment when appropriate. Direct on-camera talent and clients to produce confident, engaging presentations. Capture high-quality photography for websites, marketing campaigns, and social media. Post-Production Edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Color correct, mix audio, add captions, transitions, music, graphics, motion graphics, and visual effects. Design thumbnails and supporting graphics using Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva. Produce short-form vertical content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn. Export and optimize content for web, social media, advertising, presentations, and broadcast. Content & Marketing Develop video content calendars alongside the marketing team. Produce educational, promotional, testimonial, recruitment, event, and product videos. Optimize videos for SEO, YouTube, social media, and website performance. Create titles, descriptions, tags, captions, transcripts, and metadata. Support paid advertising campaigns with high-converting video creative. Asset & Project Management Organize, archive, and maintain video and photography assets. Manage multiple client projects while meeting deadlines. Collaborate with designers, copywriters, developers, and account managers throughout production. Maintain project status within the agency’s project management system. Analytics & Continuous Improvement Monitor video performance across websites, YouTube, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other platforms. Analyze engagement, watch time, conversions, and campaign performance. Recommend creative improvements based on performance data and emerging trends. Stay current with new editing techniques, AI-powered creative tools, social media trends, and production technology. Qualifications 2+ years of professional experience in video production, videography, or multimedia content creation. Strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling, cinematography, editing, and creative direction. Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software. Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, or Canva. Working knowledge of lighting, audio recording, composition, and camera operation. Experience producing content for websites, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other digital platforms. Understanding of SEO, digital marketing, and social media best practices. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients. FAA Part 107 drone certification is a plus. Motion graphics, animation, photography, and AI content creation experience are highly desirable.
