St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute (SLBMI) is seeking Licensed Professional Counselors and Licensed Clinical Social Workers with expertise and a passion in the area of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)! We are open to eligible candidates located outside of the St. Louis region who may be interested in joining our team through providing telehealth services. Interested candidates for this option must be professionally licensed in Missouri as well as professionally licensed in the state they are residing in. Our clinicians enjoy the aspects of being an independent provider that are appealing, while having the administrative and operational support to manage everything else that you need as a provider. Our dedicated and multidisciplinary team of 70+ colleagues are willing to share their clinical expertise for case consultation, continuing education, and program development. About The Dialectical Behavior Therapy Program Clinicians applying to this program need to be trained and/or willing to be trained in adherence in the Linehan protocol, including participating in weekly DBT consultation group. We are interested in candidates who work great with adult and/or adolescent patients. Subspecialty or additional specialty interests are welcomed. Our clinicians can choose to tailor their caseloads to have as little - or as much - variety in case presentations as they would like and as appropriate to their skillsets. SLBMI offers outpatient care (traditional individual outpatient therapy, outpatient group therapy) and separate Intensive Outpatient Programs for Adults and for Adolescents. You would have the opportunity to work at all levels of care. We also allow for tailoring of your caseload, according to your expertise and competencies. About Working At St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute a centralized intake office that screens and schedules a steady flow of clients for clinicians; an efficient and professionally run billing service; marketing support; assistance in managing managed care, including credentialing, and consultation on practice development; the ability to build a diverse caseload around your different areas of interest and specialization, which could include behavior health conditions that fall outside of your Program focus; schedule flexibility to help achieve your lifestyle preferences, while still maintaining an active patient caseload and participating in your specialty program needs; compensation financial plan based upon percentage of net cash collections, allowing you to have more independence in your practice while earning competitive compensation. Qualifications Interested applicants must have completed a Master’s or doctoral degree in a clinical mental health field (e.g. MSW, Professional Counselor, Ph.D) AND be fully licensed by the State of Missouri to practice independently. Remote providers must also be professionally licensed in the state they are residing in. All applicants must be credentialed-eligible for managed care panels in Missouri. There is a required 90-day wait period for insurance credentialing to be completed prior to starting.
