PEGA Developer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a PEGA Developer for a contract position with a Major Healthcare Company located in Eagan, MN. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.

Pay Rate: $82.40-92.40 per hour

This role involves acting as a developer for PEGA applications, working collaboratively on a scrum team to iteratively deliver functional code. The ideal candidate will work with analysts and customers to establish PEGA application requirements and contribute innovative solutions while utilizing best practices, design standards, and governance.

Responsibilities:

• Act as developer for PEGA applications - including designing, configuring, creating scripts, coding, and developing
• Work collaboratively on a scrum team with a scrum master, product owner, analysts, other developers, and testers to iteratively deliver functional code to production
• Work with analysts and customers to establish PEGA applications requirements
• Contribute innovative solutions while utilizing best practices, design standards, and governance
• Research technology trends and contribute to designs and technology application decisions
• Collaborate with technology leaders and architecture to develop application roadmap
• Consult with System Analysts, Technical Leads, and Project Managers to establish specifications and estimations on complex initiatives and requests
• Write detailed description of user needs, system design, program functions, and steps required to modify computer systems
• Responsible for application deployment management, including driver and Intent Task configuration and External Integration

Requirements:

• 5 years of related professional experience
• Cloud Service Provider Experience (AWS preferred, GCP or Azure)
• In depth experience with and knowledge of the following: Pega PCRC, Java, REST, OOP, HTML, SQL Database and AWS
• Ability to understand workflow, the solutioning side of development, and the upstream and downstream impacts of application changes
• Creative thinking, strong communication skills, creativity, curiosity, self-motivation, and time management skills
• Strong problem-solving and analysis skills
• Ability to work effectively in a cross functional team and independently

Desired skills:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Development experience using PEGA
• Strong preference for candidates with healthcare industry experience
• Experience with agile, DevOps, IT Service Management, and other development and support processes and methodologies
• Experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies
