We're looking for an Assembler to join our growing team and help build custom equipment from the ground up. This is a hands-on opportunity to work with mechanical and electrical components while receiving training from an experienced team. What You'll Do

As an Assembler, you'll play a key role in building and testing equipment while learning valuable electro-mechanical skills in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical equipment from start to finish using hand and power tools.
• Read and follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Build and wire control panels, including PLC and drive components (programming not required).
• Assemble conveyors, install motors, and build panel boards to specification.
• Install wiring, electrical components, and panels while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
• Perform both repetitive assembly tasks and more advanced build work as your skills develop.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues during the assembly process.
• Support warehouse, packaging, and other production-related activities when needed.
• Utilize computer systems and production software to support assembly and manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with teammates on a brand-new production line and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

• Experience working in manufacturing or production environments.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
