Brandywine Living, a premier provider of quality senior living, is seeking an Assistant Health and Wellness Director / Assistant Dir. of Nursing (RN) to join our team. Salary Range: $90,000 - $95,000 Yearly Responsibilities Plan, organize, and direct the overall clinical operations of the nursing department in collaboration with the Director of Clinical Services to provide comprehensive care for residents in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. Develop and maintain a working knowledge of all policies and procedures pertaining to the position, the department, and the personnel. Develop and implement an active wellness program for residents, working with the Activity Director. Maintain resident files in an orderly manner and document all pertinent information regarding residents. Prepare resident charges and reports for the Director for approval and billing. Assess resident within 90 days prior to move-in and annually throughout residency or as the resident's condition changes. Develop the initial Individual Service Plan (ISP) within 72 hours of move-in and the comprehensive ISP within 30 days of move-in and annually or as the resident's condition changes. Oversee resident care provided by the nursing department. Investigate all resident and family complaints or concerns regarding the nursing department, report findings to the Director, and act to ensure problems are resolved. Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate all nursing staff. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current NJ nursing license (RN) in good standing. Two (2) or more years’ experience in a supervisory role in Senior Living, Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, or Skilled Care. Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel), with the ability to learn new applications. Physical Abilities Perform duties such as standing, walking, sitting, using fine and gross motor skills, reaching with hands and arms, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking, hearing, and smelling. Lift or carry weight up to 50 lbs. Intermittent physical activity includes lifting and supporting residents and must use proper body mechanics.
