Are you passionate about construction, coordination, and making a tangible impact on multifamily housing projects? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Project Coordinator to join our multifamily construction team. This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for coordinating various aspects of our construction projects, from planning and scheduling to communication and documentation. This role requires a professional with a deep understanding of the construction industry, excellent organizational skills, and a knack for managing complex projects.

Responsibilities:

As a Project Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Coordinating project activities, resources, equipment, and information.
2. Liaising with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
3. Ensuring that clients' needs are met as the project evolves.
4. Coordinating project management activities, resources, equipment, and information.
5. Breaking projects into doable actions and setting timeframes.
6. Assigning tasks to internal teams and assisting with schedule management.
7. Making sure that clients' needs are met as projects evolve.
8. Overseeing project procurement management.
9. Monitoring project progress and handle any issues that arise.
10. Acting as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
11. Working with the Project Manager to eliminate blockers.
12. Using tools to monitor working hours, plans, and expenditures.
13. Issuing all appropriate legal paperwork (e.g., contracts and terms of agreement).
14. Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Project Coordinator role will have the following qualifications:

1. Proven work experience of 2+ years as a Project Coordinator or similar role in the construction industry.
2. Experience in project management, from conception to delivery.
3. Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
4. Strong client-facing and teamwork skills.
5. Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control.
6. Hands-on experience with project management tools.
