Accountant with German Finance Germany

Accountant with German Location: Germany. Responsibilities Preparation of day to day book keeping for the companies under responsibility in the ERP system. Responsible for the approval flow of all invoices through procurement system. Checking intercompany balances. Ensure that all relevant agreements are in place before processing any payment. Ensure accuracy of accounts payable and communicate with suppliers as might be needed. Propose and initiate improvements in the ERP as might be needed. Monitoring supplier costs and report variances over the period. Execution of payments in line with Group payment dates. Filing of all bills, bank statements, receipts and agreements. Building monthly cash planning and ensure that monthly plan is followed. Updating the payment reports for suppliers with classification by cost nature. Any ad-hoc projects might be requested. Preparation of monthly VAT returns and quarterly reports. Preparation and filing of statistical reports. Requirements At least 3 -5 years experience in accounting. Native or near native German language. Previous experience in using ERP systems. Business central knowledge is an advantage. Good with numbers and figures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Well‑organized and reliable. Excellent English skills. Good knowledge of Excel. Completed apprenticeship.
