Responsible for all aspects of Quality across the programs life-cycle including proposals, contract review, start-up, development, transition to production, production and support. Requires an understanding of quality tasks across quality functions including hardware, software, systems and suppliers/subcontractors, and customers. Proficient in company policies. Partners with program teams as the Quality Lead for design, development, production and mobilization phases of program execution. Performs contract reviews and flows down contract quality requirements to quality team, including suppliers. Establishes quality budgets and cost commitments. Serves on the program area Risk and Opportunity Review Boards; nominates risks and opportunities. Ensures Quality Assurance Plans are documented and current and implemented. Schedules and ensures assessments of program (e.g. quality audits). Participates in independent program reviews to understand risks and drive Return to Green plans. Maintains a DCMA/Customer quality relationship. Establishes and maintains effective Quality Program Team business rhythm.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree from an accredited college in technical discipline (e.g. engineering field) or equivalent discipline (e.g. math, physics, software, etc.).Proven experience utilizing quality metrics and data to generate and follow through measureable action plans.Experience interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.Ability to support weekend and 2nd shift as needed for mission critical support.Possess a strong use of computer systems related to documenting and tracking non-conformances. Ability to achieve and maintain certification in technical skills as required by the role.Quality and Manufacturing technical experience.Data Analysis / trend management experience.US Citizenship required.Desired SkillsExperienced with Preliminary Review (PR) and Material Review Board (MRB).Experience generating Tableau dashboards or utilizing other software systems to develop and maintain quality metrics.Demonstrated ability presenting to senior level leadership and customers Current QMRB certification is a plusDemonstrated knowledge of nonconformance handling and disposition.Experience in Design/Test Readiness/Manufacturing Readiness ReviewsSignificant knowledge of Quality Systems and Processes (inclusive of AS9100 audit experience).Significant government (DCMA/DOD/NASA) relations experience.Significant experience in SAP operating systems, Automation Framework, EPDM, P2P, and/or APRISOAbility to work in an environment with evolving requirements and dynamic schedulesExperience with human spaceflight NASA/DCMA customersExperience with spacecraft processing.Ability to develop performance metrics and take appropriate actionExperience with program management and project management toolsUnderstanding of export control and ITAR requirements for working with international suppliersExperience with working in an ATLO environmentSignificant experience with Root Cause Corrective Action analysisCurrent RCCA certification is a plusPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
