Conduct personalized speech therapy sessions concentrating on language, fluency, voice, and swallowing difficulties.

Work closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop seamless care plans.

Educate patients and families to encourage ongoing progress beyond therapy sessions.

Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions to ensure a consistent care experience.

Keep comprehensive and timely documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Engage in ongoing education and collaboration with colleagues to remain at the forefront of the field.

A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.

State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is essential within 30 days of employment.

Competency in utilizing evidence-based practices for various age groups, with a robust understanding of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing challenges.

Outstanding interpersonal communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Capacity to adapt therapeutic approaches to accommodate different cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation requirements.
