Chenega Advanced Solutions and Intelligence Services, LLC (CASIS), is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Chenega Corporation, an Alaska Native Corporation (ANC) headquartered in Anchorage, Alaska. CASIS is an 8(a), ANC-Owned, Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) headquartered in Sierra Vista, AZ. We are a professional services provider specializing in the delivery of Intelligence Operations and Cyber Support Services to the Department of Defense (DoD) & other agencies within the U.S. Government (USG).

CASIS is a part of Chenega Corporations Military, Intelligence, and Operations Support (MIOS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU). The SBU operates as a leveraged services model that increases the depth & scalability of our support staff while reducing costs to our customers. Chenega MIOS has over 1,700 employees located across the United States & internationally, with experience that includes management of contracts valued at $2 Billion that provide services to large federal agencies.

Chenega Advanced Solutions and Intelligence Services is seeking a Scrum Master / Agile Coach - SME role that utilizes Agile processes, partnering with the Army Enterprise Staff Management Systems (AESMS) Product Lead and leadership teams and working with project teams to deliver on time and on budget at scale. This position will work in a Scrum/SAFe environment using Scrum principles at the Department of War Service level to drive and implement the Joint Enterprise Task Management System (JETMS) application across each service. The Scrum Master / Agile Coach SME must demonstrate a high level of expertise in estimating work effort, planning sprint backlogs, facilitating daily stand-up meetings, and conducting sprint demo and retrospective meetings throughout all Agile sprint phases for this custom software development project.

Responsibilities

• Guide service level program managers using Agile in a large program that includes multiple Agile teams, releases, and projects that operate in parallel (e.g., Scrum of Scrums).
• Demonstrate breadth and depth of experience in the tools and techniques of the Scrum/SAFe Agile Framework at scale.
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of how to implement the architecture in an Agile environment, how to combine the use of component and feature teams, and how to coordinate multiple teams when managing Agile software development for large-scale enterprise development.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the constraints and ability to apply means and methods to overcome these constraints when implementing Agile in a federal contracting environment.
• Coach project teams and assist them to execute Agile practices in achieving Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment and Delivery.
• Assist in easing the organizational cultural transition from well-established federal hierarchical structures, processes, and reporting to the transformation that Agile tends to introduce.
• Help the project team to overcome internal barriers to excellence by assisting with tasks such as defining the Definition of Done, estimation of stories, and navigating through difficult Agile issues
• Expert facilitator to elicit and document future-state processes and high-level requirements.
• Support business development activities as required (e.g., customer technical capabilities briefings, past performance content, technical solutions).
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree with 5+ years of experience OR
• Highschool experience with 7+ years of experience with the following:
• Agile Coach or Scrum Master
• with Agile tools, including JIRA and Confluence to support reporting and deliverables tracking
• Experience with both Scrum and Kanban methodologies
• Must have experience with teaching technical/non-technical teams the basic Agile framework concepts
• Must have experience with defining Stories and prioritizing the Team Backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components
• Must have experience with creating solutions in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
• Scrum Alliance Certified ScrumMaster Certification required
• Background check required
• Successfully pass background and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications:

• Secret Security Clearance preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Certification in Agile methodologies, like Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) is preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps preferred but not required
• Deep understanding of Agile principles and practices, as well as various frameworks, like Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and SAFe
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SLDC) is required.
• Experience with agile tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
• Experience coaching teams and individuals on Agile practices, facilitating workshops, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and inspire teams to adopt Agile practices and mindset
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
• Experience in organizational transformation and change management
• Advanced skills in problem-solving
• Good work ethic and active desire to learn
• Skillful time management and organizational skills to set and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment to encourage collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement

• Ability to meet minimum security requirements
