Marketing Director, Own the First Product Launch at a Pre-Commercial Medtech | 3663898

That timing is the job. You are not inheriting a running marketing machine. You are building the launch, and the work you do in the next twelve months decides how the product enters the market.

• You have personally carried a product from pre-commercial through its first commercial launch. Not joined after launch, not marketed something already approved. Carried it.
• You are comfortable being the whole function before you are a department, and you would rather build the plan than manage someone else's.
• You know how a premium implantable product actually gets bought: the surgeon, the hospital value analysis committee, and the health‑economics case that gets it through.
• You want a leadership team small enough that the CEO knows what you are working on this week.
• The go-to-market strategy and launch plan for a product entering an established surgical market.
• Positioning, messaging, and the clinical and economic story that persuades both surgeons and the committees that approve purchases.
• The marketing foundation the incoming commercial team will sell on, including sales enablement, launch materials, and KOL engagement.
• Market and competitive intelligence sharp enough to inform pricing and the commercial plan.
• Close partnership with the commercial leadership building the field organization.
• Substantial medical device, biologics, or life sciences marketing experience, with real depth in product or downstream marketing.
• A launch you can talk through end to end, including what went wrong and what you would do differently.
• Fluency with the regulatory and clinical constraints of marketing a cleared medical device.
• The judgment to operate with incomplete information and the appetite to make the call anyway.
