Senior Territory Manager

Workplace: Field-based in NE Ohio / Cleveland Job Summary This position manages an assigned territory of core Foremost Independent Agencies, including responsibilities to prospect and appoint new agencies, drive profitable premium growth, and achieve financial and operational goals. This role develops and manages agency partnerships and serves as the primary relationship between the agency and the company. The position develops and promotes the suite of Foremost products and services within an assigned territory to build premium growth through agent relationships. This individual contributor works independently with minimal guidance, may mentor less experienced team members, and is remote with required weekly field travel. Essential Job Functions Owns and manages assigned territory, driving profitable growth to meet financial and operational targets, leads the territory tactical plan, and cultivates mutually beneficial agency partnerships using a consultative sales framework. Creates and executes high quality agency strategies and plans, holds agents accountable, collaborates with field distribution partners, and ensures quality new business flow, appropriate mix of business, and overall risk management. Utilizes internal reporting and tools to support the Independent Agent channel, leads collaboration with internal partners, and may mentor less experienced team members. Physical Actions Job performed in‑person at a Farmers office or remotely; may involve field sites, indoor and outdoor environments, lifting up to 50 pounds, fine motor tasks, and regular travel between locations. Education Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. CIC, CPCU, or insurance licenses preferred upon hire. Experience Requirements Minimum five years of field insurance sales and management work experience with progressing responsibility. Experience achieving consistent profitable premium growth and sales success. IA Distribution experience. Territory management within P&C insurance.
