As a Security Officer Access Intake in Minooka, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. At a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help manage access control, monitor activity, and conduct routine patrols to help support a secure environment. This Allied Universal role blends visible presence, communication, and customer service while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity. Job Schedule:
DayTimeWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points for personnel, visitors, and/or delivery traffic, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and report unusual activity or access concerns to site contacts.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with supervisors and/or local responders as needed.
- Support access control operations for a logistics and distribution location by maintaining visitor logs, screening arrivals, and directing authorized individuals to the appropriate areas.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, gate areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
