As a Security Officer Access Security Desk in Minooka, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. DayTimeFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and facility personnel by following site-specific access procedures, verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit activity, and supporting security-related protocols at the location.
- Control access to gates, entrances, and restricted areas by screening visitors, checking identification, maintaining required logs, and helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting unusual conditions and reporting security-related concerns.
- Support receiving and shipping operations by monitoring vehicle arrivals and departures, confirming authorization for pickups and deliveries, and helping to maintain orderly access flow during busy periods.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
