Sr Accountant

Position Summary The Senior Accountant is responsible for reviewing consolidated financial statements, preparing and posting periodic journal entries, and improving internal financial controls across our facilities and systems. Duties & Responsibilities Preparation and posting of monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries. Conducting reviews of financial statements at both operating locations and corporate offices. Evaluating corporate internal controls over key accounts and in‑scope systems. Using existing technology and accounting systems to create efficiencies and process improvements. Assisting other finance departments with intracompany reporting needs. Performing analysis and reconciliations for key accounts on a recurring basis. Supporting internal and external audits. Maintaining documentation of the control environment, including narratives, flow charts, policies, and procedures. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in Accounting or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of related work experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of public accounting and auditing practices. Core Competencies Integrity and trustworthiness, displaying a commitment to doing the right thing. Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $76,000 – $98,800 annually, with potential performance bonuses, commissions, profit sharing, car allowance, travel reimbursement, and other non‑financial perks.
