Quick Facts: Location: 420 34th Street, Bakersfield, CA 93301 Start Date: 12/31/2025 Duration: Ongoing Shift: 8- or 10-hour shifts (flexible based on schedule) Hours/Week: Varies based on scheduling Employment Type: Locum License/Certs: Active California medical license, DEA, CSR, BLS Experience: At least 2 years in OB Hospitalist roles preferred Pay & Benefits: Pay Rate: $195.00/hour Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time, licensure and certification reimbursements Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team to assist during your assignment What You’ll Do: Provide OB hospitalist coverage in a busy, multi-specialty facility Manage labor and delivery, antepartum, and postpartum patient care Collaborate with nursing and specialty teams to ensure quality patient outcomes Perform necessary procedures, including spinal blocks Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR Comply with hospital policies, safety standards, and legal regulations Support quality improvement initiatives and participate in team meetings What You Need: Active California medical license (highly preferred) NBCRNA Certification (required) DEA and CSR (highly preferred; must obtain before start) BLS certification Minimum of 2 years’ relevant hospital-based OB experience Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment: Join a leading healthcare facility in Bakersfield, CA.
