Number of staff: 45 total unit staff. Day shift staff includes 3 RNs, 2 MH Techs, 1 US, 1 DC Planner, 1 Rec Therapist, and 2 Clinical Therapists. Night shift staff includes 3 RNs and 2 MH Techs. Patient ratios: 1:6 or 1:7. Some medical equipment used includes wheelchairs, cycler dialysis, and some wound vacs/dressings. Electronic medical record system: Meditech. Preferred experience includes medical experience and Meditech experience. Typical procedures performed on the unit include blood glucose checks, medication administration, assessments, and documentation. Dressing changes are rare.
