Job Responsibilities

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' specific needs and design individualized therapy strategies to help them reach their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor functions, cognitive skills, and everyday activities
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to provide thorough, well-rounded care
• Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and their caregivers on effective therapy methods to ensure continued progress outside of sessions
• Track and Adapt Progress: Monitor clinical results closely and adjust therapy plans as necessary to keep patients on their path to success

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Encouragement for ongoing education and additional certifications

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must
