Culinary Assistant

Job Details The primary responsibility of the Culinary Ambassador is to be a collaborative member of the dietary team whose mutual goal is to provide excellent food service delivery to residents and patients. Understand and follow dietary extensions, orders, restrictions, and food consistencies per tray cards and work assignments. Engage with patients and residents in a respectful and professional manner. Perform defined work routines, using various dietary utensils, supplies and equipment as assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Manager. Perform cleaning procedures and keep area and equipment in sanitary condition. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Food service experience preferred; job training will be provided. Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks with frequent interruptions. Ability to measure and mix cleaning agents and chemicals. Good motor skills and manual dexterity for preparing food items, serving trays, handling soiled dishes, operating dietary equipment, and cleaning work area. Flexibility to work varied hours to accommodate changes due to cultural change implementations. Salary Range USD $19.85 - $22.00 per hour. The rate for this position is $19.85-$22.00 per hour. This range serves as a good‑faith estimate and will vary based on the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. The salary range does not include bonuses, incentive, differential pay, or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job, and it does not include the value of benefits.
