Project Manager

A growing General Contractor in the Austin market is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team. This company specializes in high-end commercial interiors, adaptive reuse, and unique commercial projects throughout Central Texas and DFW.

Project Types

Typical projects range from $2M–$10M+.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and overall project execution
• Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and field teams
• Participate in preconstruction activities including budgeting, estimating support, and pricing exercises
• Lead subcontractor buyout and procurement efforts
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Work closely with Superintendents to maintain quality and schedule expectations
• Support client presentations and negotiated project pursuits as needed

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management
• Experience managing commercial projects in the $2M–$10M range
• Background in interiors, renovations, or commercial construction preferred
• Some estimating or preconstruction experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Procore experience preferred
• Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience (Usually around $130,000-$150,000 for the level they are looking to hire)
