Elevator Repair Department Administrator

Start Elevator is seeking a highly organized and dependable Elevator Repair Department Administrator to support the daily operations of our busy repair department. This role is ideal for an administrative professional who can manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively with customers and field personnel, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to the Elevator Repair Department.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries professionally.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain repair-related documents, work orders, service records, and customer files.
• Enter and track invoices, purchase orders, vendor information, and other financial records using QuickBooks.
• Assist with scheduling, coordinating, and following up on repair jobs and technician paperwork.
• Communicate with technicians, customers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely information flow.
• Maintain accurate data entry and assist with reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence.
• Monitor office supplies and support general office operations as needed.

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, is essential.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks independently.
• Previous administrative, service department, construction, elevator, or related industry experience is preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be available to work MondayFriday, 7:00 AM4:00 PM
