Ideal Candidate Background
- Experience:
- 1–2 years in a safety-adjacent role within the past 5 years
- 0–2 years acceptable if coming from a direct safety background (e.g., EMTs, construction safety, healthcare safety)
- Certifications:
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred
- Skills:
- Strong people/interpersonal skills
- Administrative ability (filing, documentation, compliance support)
- Growth mindset – willing to develop and grow with the role
Relevant Backgrounds
- Construction preferred or Manufacturing (especially day 2 environments)
- Healthcare safety, EMTs, general safety enthusiasts
- Previous experience in data centers with light safety protocols is a plus

Overview
We're seeking three Safety Coordinators to support high-visibility data center projects across multiple Columbus-area sites. Ideal candidates will have 1–2 years of safety-adjacent experience or direct safety roles in healthcare, construction, or manufacturing environments. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term growth potential for individuals passionate about workplace safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day site safety operations
- Maintain documentation and safety compliance records
- Assist with onboarding safety practices for new personnel
- Monitor low-level risks in a data center environment
- Partner with technicians, contractors, and leadership to foster a safety-first culture
- Report and file incidents, assist in investigations if needed
- Ensure PPE and site safety protocols are followed
Qualifications
- Experience:
- 1–2 years in a safety-related or adjacent role within the past 5 years
- EMTs, construction safety, healthcare, and manufacturing experience highly encouraged
- Certifications:
- OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized and comfortable with administrative tasks
- Eagerness to grow into a long-term safety-focused role
