Initially, this opportunity offers a part-time schedule, allowing you to begin with just a few hours each week. As the school year progresses and caseloads expand, your role can seamlessly transition into a full-time commitment, reaching up to 40 hours per week. This 12-month position is perfect for professionals passionate about supporting children at a formative stage in their development.

Qualifications & Desired Skills:

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), with experience in school or early intervention settings preferred
• Positive, flexible, and collaborative approach to working with young children and interdisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to a growing caseload and evolving environment
• Commitment to child-centered, individualized, and group therapy sessions

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging occupational therapy services to early intervention classrooms with up to 10 children per room
• Work alongside a 1:1 teacher's assistant and a dedicated special education teacher in each classroom
• Provide both individual and group sessions, tailored to meet each child’s needs
• Document goals, progress, and outcomes for all children on your caseload
• Participate in collaborative planning and staff meetings as the program develops
