For more information, visit The Manager of Business Analytics is responsible for leading a team of Business Analysts and ensuring analytics are used to proactively improve client performance, demonstrate value, and identify opportunities for action across an assigned region(s) of clients. This role is accountable for the quality, consistency, and impact of analytics delivered across the region. The Manager will ensure analysts move beyond reporting results to providing consultative analytics—identifying performance opportunities, determining root causes, recommending actions, and measuring impact. The Manager will partner closely with Operations, Account Development, and other business stakeholders to understand client priorities, proactively identify risks and opportunities, and ensure reporting and analytics are packaged into clear, actionable recommendations that improve client outcomes and strengthen Premise's value proposition. This is a full time, hybrid Analytics Manager role located in Brentwood, TN. What You'll Do Regional Client Performance Management Own the analytics performance strategy for an assigned regional portfolio of clients, ensuring analytics are focused on the highest-value opportunities. Maintain visibility into client performance, proactively identifying emerging risks, opportunities, and trends across the region and escalating that to Operations/Account Development partners. Ensure analysts understand the performance of their assigned clients and can clearly articulate what is happening, why it matters, and what action should be taken. Identify common performance trends across clients and elevate opportunities requiring broader organizational action. Partner with Operations leadership to prioritize opportunities and translate analytical findings into measurable improvement initiatives. Consultative Analytics & Insights Develop analysts into consultative business partners who proactively use data to influence decisions rather than simply respond to reporting requests. Ensure analytics translate data into actionable insights, clear recommendations, informed actions, and measurable business outcomes. Coach analysts on root-cause analysis, opportunity identification, business case development, and translating complex findings into clear recommendations. Challenge teams to quantify the expected impact and value of recommended actions whenever possible. Ensure client and operational conversations focus on business outcomes rather than simply reviewing metrics. Client Reporting & Performance Storytelling Oversee the development of client performance reporting across the assigned region, including self-service reporting, QBR/ABR reporting, executive insights, and other client-facing analytics. Ensure reporting clearly addresses client needs and communicates performance, the value delivered, opportunities for improvement, and recommended actions. Establish consistent standards for analytical storytelling and executive-level communication for your team. Ensure analysts are prepared to support Operations in interpreting and communicating complex analytical findings to clients. Business Partnership Serve as the primary Analytics partner to regional Operations leadership. Develop a deep understanding of regional business priorities, client needs, and performance challenges. Proactively bring forward analytical opportunities rather than relying solely on stakeholder requests. Partner with Data Science, and Analytics Engineering teams to translate recurring business needs into scalable analytics capabilities. Escalate data, methodology, product, or reporting issues that create material risk to client conversations or decision-making. Team Leadership & Development Lead the day-to-day performance and development of a team of analysts. Establish clear expectations for analytical quality, business partnership, responsiveness, and measurable impact. Coach team members on analytical thinking, storytelling, executive communication, and consultative skills. Monitor workload and priorities to ensure resources are focused on the highest-value activities. Identify skill gaps and create development plans that continuously improve the team's analytical maturity. Analytics Adoption & Continuous Improvement Drive adoption of enterprise analytics products, self-service capabilities, and standardized reporting across the region. Gather structured feedback from analysts, Operations, and clients to inform future analytics product development. Reinforce standardized metrics, methodologies, reporting practices, and governance. Support change management and training associated with new analytics products and capabilities. Reduce unnecessary ad hoc reporting by directing stakeholders toward scalable, enterprise analytics solutions whenever possible. What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, analytics, finance, public health, or related field required. Master's degree preferred. 5+ years of healthcare, business analytics, consulting, or related experience. Experience leading or developing analytics professionals. Demonstrated experience using analytics to identify business opportunities and influence decisions. Experience developing and presenting client-facing or executive-level analytics. Experience partnering with operational or business leaders to improve performance. Experience managing multiple priorities across a portfolio of stakeholders or clients. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to translate data into insights, recommendations, and business actions. Strong business acumen and ability to understand client performance within a broader operational and financial context. Demonstrated consultative approach to stakeholder relationships. Strong data storytelling, presentation, and executive communication skills. Ability to identify trends and opportunities across a portfolio rather than evaluating clients independently. Strong people leadership, coaching, and performance management skills. Ability to operate effectively within a cross-functional, matrixed organization.
